As a Barclays Legal Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team who oversee the most complex Legal matters and cover commercial negotiations and milestone tracking with 50+ legal suppliers. You will undertake this work for a portfolio of matters, ensuring appropriate cost controls and operational processes are in place and that we meet the demands of multiple businesses and legal teams.

What will you be doing?
- Being accountable for a portfolio of matters, providing project management assistance as well as technical advice and know-how to internal counsel
- Ensuring that matters are set up for success by providing guidance on scoping, planning, and monitoring costs and key milestones and escalating potential impact to budget
- Working with law firms and internal stakeholders to develop innovative pricing models and consider alternative resourcing options
- Helping with the development and implementation of Legal Project Management best practices by drafting documentation for those outside the LPM team
- Presenting portfolio reports at financial accountability meetings, outlooks reviews and other reporting discussions
- Engaging with external senior legal partners, LPM contacts and relationship management teams
- Implementing and streamlining processes to drive improvements (e.g. optimising data capture, centralising best practice content etc)
- Providing tendering assistance to internal counsel including reviewing tenders and advising on fee arrangements and assumptions
What We’re Looking For
- Wide Legal or Finance background, with Legal know-how
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent

- Experience of working in a law firm or in-house setting
- Finance related qualification or work experience
