Elevate is recruiting an Analyst, Legal Operations, who will work with customers directly to improve Fortune 500 law departments through analysis, strategy, and implementation. You will support a variety of clients and will work to deliver solutions and directly impact law departments’ budgets.
This role will support EMEA regions: working 8 hours per day (flexible) – some of which may be 6pm onwards. Must be willing to work flexibility to cover support the business, this may involve working evenings and weekends.
Duties
Specifically, this role will:
- Perform legal invoice review,
- Produce reports for client by manipulation of data in Microsoft Excel and other in-house tools,
- Writing client reports, communication with external vendors /clients
- Assist external vendors in their invoice submissions.
- Monitor communications
- Other tasks may include arranging, attend and minute-taking for internal and external meetings and preparation of presentations.
- Deliver strategic consulting and operational solutions to corporate law departments and law firms.
- Use your analytical skills to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
- Implement solutions to improve legal department operations.
- Extend a customer’s organization to provide subject matter expertise, supported strategic, technology, or operational improvements to a legal department or law firm.
- Have developed and used metrics and analytics as part of your solutions.
- Have worked with, or implemented, common legal technologies, including matter management, e-Billing, and contract management systems.
- Be capable of working on multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

- Enjoy a culture of change that seeks out efficiencies, cost savings, and constant improvement, have 3-4 weekly meetings with the customer, along with 1-2 ad hoc meetings whenever the customer requires and be required to work US days and have US Bank Holidays off in place of UK Public Holidays
Skills:
- Experience running reporting and metrics for a team or department
- Capable data skills, able to use a variety of methods to analyse data.
- Language skills would be an advantage but not essential (French)
- Have supported strategic, technology, or operational improvements to a legal department or law firm.
- Have developed and used metrics and analytics as part of your solutions.
- Have worked with, or implemented, common legal technologies, including matter management, eBilling, and contract management systems.
- Are capable of working on multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Are interested in joining a growing company with the potential for a long-term career path.
- Enjoy a culture of change that seeks out efficiencies, cost savings, and constant improvement.
Experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent track record in previous client support/customer service engagements
- Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline driven environment.
- Experienced and Proficient with Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Ability to learn new Legal Tech such as Cael or Quickbase.
- Experience as a business analyst, legal operations analyst, or similar role within an organization.
- Prior role as a consultant or in-house strategy analyst.
Qualifications:
Degree or relevant work experience in a relevant industry
